HAVE A QUESTION FIRST?
We're happy to help.
HOW IT WORKS
From your camera roll to your wall …
01 — APPLY WITH PHOTOS
Tell us about your pet and share a few reference photos. Start by telling us a little about who you're commissioning.
Their name. Their personality. The things that make them unmistakably them.
The more we know, the better we can understand the subject beyond the photograph.
You don't need a professional photoshoot or a perfect picture. Send the photographs that best show your pet's face, personality and the details that make them unmistakably yours.
02 — PHOTO REVIEW
We'll review your photos and confirm that they will work well for a painting — before any payment is made.
If we need additional references or have suggestions for the composition, we'll discuss them with you at this stage.
03 — CHOOSE YOUR PORTRAIT and MAKE a 50% DEPOSIT
Select the size and format that works for your space.
A small portrait can be intimate and understated. A larger painting can become a statement piece.
If you're unsure what size or composition would work best, we'll help you decide.
Once your photos and commission details are approved, a 50% deposit secures your commission slot.
No surprises — you'll know the final price before you commit.
04 — PAINTING
Igor studies your references, considers the composition, and begins the original oil painting.
Every painting is created on 1.5"-deep gallery-wrapped canvas, with painted edges.
There are no filters, templates or automated effects.
Every portrait is individually composed and painted by hand, with careful attention to expression, character, light and detail.
05 — MEET YOUR PORTRAIT
Once the painting is complete, we'll let you know it's ready.
Drying and varnishing time is built into the 4–6 week timeline.
After the paint has dried, your original portrait is ready to be sent on its journey home.06 — BALANCE & DELIVERY
The remaining 50% balance, plus any shipping cost confirmed at booking, is due before delivery.
Your painting is then carefully packed and sent on its way.
WHAT MAKES A GREAT REFERENCE PHOTO?
Your pet doesn't need to sit perfectly still and look directly at the camera.
In fact, some of the best portraits begin with imperfect photographs.
Look for:
Clear details around the eyes and face
Natural expression
Good lighting
An angle that feels like your pet
A photograph that makes you think, “That's them.”
Have several photographs?
Send them. Different images can help us understand the details, proportions and personality of your pet.
MORE THAN ONE PET?
Of course.
We can create a portrait featuring two or more pets, even when they were never photographed together.
if they're part of the family, they're welcome in the picture.
